Tryouts will be held during the first week of practices beginning in mid-february. (Stay tuned for exact dates).
Captains will schedule several pre-season practices. These events are not mandatory, but a great way to learn the sport, hone skills, and meet your teammates. (Stay tuned for these events to start in mid November 2026)
Selection for Varsity and JV are based on skill level, fitness, attitude and attendance
There will be no cuts
There are no participation fees. (All costs are covered via volunteers and fundraising).
Current US Lacrosse Membership must be validated for tryout eligibility; no exceptions. Membership cost is $35 per year. (Lean more atwww.uslacrosse.org.)
Gear: All players are expected to have a girls lacrosse stick, a mouthguard (must be a color, not clear), lacrosse goggles, running shoes, and cleats or turf shoes. For players other than goalies, helmets are optional and up to the individual player. We do provide all of the required equipment for goalies.
Uniforms: We provide uniforms, which are returned at season’s end.
